Absurd physical theatre
As soon as you’re born you start to die. Just like everything else. In the end we all die. All of us. Such a hassle! This fact alone is reason enough why we ought to love one another. But we don’t. We are paralysed by banality; we are consumed by nothing.
Inspired by Janne Tellers book ‘Nothing’, Das Lemniscaat tries to relate to the immeasurable, incomprehensible, infinite nothingness. And to the absurdity of this meaningless, manic universe. They try to embrace ‘nothing’, and by doing so embrace everything, and find peace in it all. But when you embrace nothing, what will come to light?
