Cinetree’s Forest Filmfestival is back! From Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th August you can enjoy the most beautiful, funniest and best films in the Amsterdamse Bostheater.

August 17th is Bring Your Dog Night! Together with your fourlegged friend, you can watch a movie that won 15 awards, including the Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature in 2025. We’re of course talking about: Flow!

Why Flow?

Okay, this should be a dog night, so why are we showing a movie that is about a cat?! Not necessarily the best canine friend, right? But that’s precisely what makes this night so special. Because in Flow, the animals connect with each other and have to live and survive together. Just like dogs and cats have done for ages. And as some dog owners know, dogs and cats can become the best of friends. So take your four legged best friend to the woods and enjoy the beautiful, award-winning film Flow together.

Synopsis

In the magical animated film Flow, a black kitten wanders alone through nature, in a world that resembles our own. Cat the kitten is a solitary animal. When a sudden flood submerges everything, Cat ends up on a boat with other animals. Despite the vast differences between these animals, they embark on an adventure together through the submerged world and form special friendships.

No words are spoken in the film, but as a viewer, you nevertheless become attached to the characters and empathize with them.

Cinetree group tickets

The best way to experience is to experience together, right? We think so too! That is why we’re introducing the group ticket!* Come and enjoy the best films together for a reduced price. But beware: there are only a limited number of group tickets, gone = gone!

* A group ticket gives six people access to the film evening. With a group ticket you get a total discount of € 10 euros. You get one ticket that allows six people to enter (so make sure you enter at the same time).
