Cinetree’s Forest Filmfestival is back! From Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th August you can enjoy the most beautiful, funniest and best films in the Amsterdamse Bostheater. On 14th August you will see the brand new film: The Salt Path.
Why The Salt Path in the our theater?
The Salt Path is an inspiring film that fits perfectly with the atmosphere of this summer, shown in the ideal setting: outside, among the trees. Two people lose everything, except each other and a backpack. They decide to walk, to walk very far. What follows is a raw and hopeful story about starting over. The film touches on themes such as resilience, loss and the connection between people and nature, and shows how valuable it is when strangers help each other. With the impressive British coast as a backdrop and strong performances by Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs in the lead roles, The Salt Path manages to touch without becoming heavy.
So come and watch, bring a sweater and leave the city behind you for a while. Maybe you will walk out of the forest with more peace and connection.
