Donny Benét brings his unmistakable grooves to the Amsterdamse Bostheater. The Australian musician and producer has a passion for analog synths, tight basslines, and a sound that balances somewhere between Italo disco, yacht rock, and funk.

With albums like The Don and Mr. Experience, Donny Benét has grown into a cult phenomenon. His music nods to the ’80s, but it’s more than just nostalgia—it’s authentic, unconventional, and, above all, irresistibly danceable. Live, this translates into a show where he—armed with his bass and synthesizers—effortlessly shifts between smooth slow jams and pulsating disco tracks.

On May 31, the Bostheater will briefly transform into an open-air club. Whether you end up dancing at the front of the stage or swaying with a smile from the stands, standing still is not an option. With his latest album, Infinite Desires, Benét adds a new dimension to his live repertoire—playful, seductive, and as groovy as ever.
