Theatre Festival in the Forest!
From Wednesday, August 20 to Saturday, August 30, Het Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest) will transform into a sanctuary for theatre in the broadest sense of the word. You decide what — and how much — you want to experience: will it be a melodic twilight walk into the dark, a spectacular piece about flash delivery riders, a poetic concert, or one of the many other performances?
Each evening features a different line-up, curated by a wide range of diverse and inspiring creators — always with the rustling trees as a majestic backdrop.
It’s Always a Party at the Festival Hub
The open-air stage of the Bostheater — usually home to major theatre productions and concerts — transforms into the festival hub and becomes the starting and end point of a collective theatre experience. Here, you can enjoy a cozy drink, delicious food from our Mexican chef, and great music!
LEWIS (August 20 & 21, 2025) – start 22:00

Afrogrooves (August 23, 2025) – start 22:00
Puntjudith (August 28, 29 & 30, 2025) – start 22:00
On August 24, 26, and 27, a DJ will transform the Festival Heart into the largest dance hall in Amsterdam and the surrounding area.
