The 5-year anniversary edition of Cinetree’s Forest Film Festival will take place in the Amsterdam Bostheater on August 22, 23 and 24. On August 22nd we’ll broadcast Frida on the big screen in the forest!
If there is one woman who inspires many women, it is Frida Kahlo. After all these years, she rightly still appears as a feminist icon on t-shirts and duvet covers. But who was Frida really and what can we learn from her? In the Oscar-winning Frida we follow her in all her colors and phases of her lively, turbulent and sometimes tragic life.
