Challengers

Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino (Call Me By Your Name), tells the story of Tashi Duncan (played by Zendaya), a former talented tennis player turned coach. She is a strong woman who holds her own both on and off the tennis court and is married to Art, a tennis champion who is going through a somewhat bad period. Tashi’s attempts to get her husband back on track take a surprising turn when he is pitted against the outcast Patrick, his former best friend and Tashi’s ex. When issues from their past raise tensions, Tashi is forced to wonder what price will have to be paid for winning.
