Live at Amsterdamse Bos presents

Digable Planets

After a blazing sold-out show at Patronaat Haarlem in 2024, Digable Planets return to the Netherlands! On August 25, we welcome the legendary hip-hop group to Live At Amsterdamse Bos.

The Brooklyn-based group, consisting of Ishmael Butler (Butterfly), Craig Irving (Doodlebug), and Mary Ann Vieira (Ladybug Mecca), broke through internationally in the early ’90s with their Grammy-winning hit Rebirth Of Slick (Cool Like Dat). With their unique blend of jazz influences and hip-hop, they became one of the most influential names in alternative hip-hop.

Shortly after, they released their debut album Reachin’, followed by the critically acclaimed Blowout Comb a colorful and forward-thinking record exploring themes such as Black Liberation. With their distinctive style and strong artistic vision, Digable Planets have left a lasting mark on the music world, inspiring generations of hip-hop fans, jazz musicians, and creative innovators. With strong on-stage chemistry and a laid-back presence, they bring a unique dynamic to every performance. Enjoy this concert on a warm summer evening in the Amsterdamse Bos.

Make your evening even more special with a VIP ticket. Enjoy early access, a signed poster, a meet & greet with the artists, and an exclusive VIP pass.
