One of Cuba’s most influential musicians, Eliades Ochoa, is coming to Live At in 2026! This is great news for lovers of warm, traditional, yet timeless music. His performances are intimate, captivating and feel like wandering the streets of Cuba for an entire evening.

Eliades Ochoa is world-renowned and beloved as one of the original members of the Buena Vista Social Club. He is the lead singer on their hit ‘Chan Chan’. The group brought traditional Cuban music to audiences around the world, uniting generations of fans for over eighteen years.

After the success of ‘Buena Vista’, Ochoa released nine albums and won four Latin Grammys. In 2023, he released his album ‘Guajiro’, in which the ‘Cuban Johnny Cash’ returns to the roots of guajira and country with original songs. On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Eliades Ochoa will bring his storytelling music from Cuba to the Bostheater.

According to Ochoa, there are no distances, languages, or borders in the music he creates. His greatest pride? Ending a performance to a standing ovation, something he attributes to his culture.
