Step into the new room by Schippers&VanGucht. A five-by-seven-metre space where video, music, vibrations, and live performance come together in a small encounter with twelve others. In this 20-minute experience, the work explores duckweed, rain, you replacing me, hardening, embracing, holding on-because that matters-strangers, melting, eyes, and a mirror.

EENIEDEREEN invites you into connection. Sometimes you feel lost, something is lost, the way is lost, you are lost. But after being lost comes finding, like what follows rain. Let yourself be moved by the gaze of a stranger, a moment of recognition, and the realization that you truly see one another. EENIEDEREEN emerges from those small, chance encounters that give your day new meaning.

Schippers&VanGucht are known for their work that connects, moves, and invites reflection. With earlier installations such as Warnet, De Volle Vuilkar, and ODE, they consistently create welcoming and surprising encounters. EENIEDEREEN is no exception. EENIEDEREEN does not symbolise the world, but your own inner room. It shows how limited your perspective can sometimes be-until you come face to face with others and your horizon expands.

“Whoever isn’t gone, is seen.” In a time when many people feel invisible, this installation highlights the importance of being seen. Just like children calling “Mom! Look!”, every human being longs for that gaze of recognition and connection.
