Bosfest 2026 presents

EENIEDEREEN

Schippers&VanGucht

9 mensen staan in de regen
Step into the new room by Schippers&VanGucht. A five-by-seven-metre space where video, music, vibrations, and live performance come together in a small encounter with twelve others. In this 20-minute experience, the work explores duckweed, rain, you replacing me, hardening, embracing, holding on-because that matters-strangers, melting, eyes, and a mirror.

“One glance can be enough.”

EENIEDEREEN invites you into contact. Sometimes you are lost, it is lost, the way is lost, yourself is lost. But after being lost comes finding, like what follows rain. Let yourself be touched by the gaze of a stranger, a moment of recognition and the realization that you truly perceive one another. EENIEDEREEN arises from those small, accidental encounters that give your day new meaning.

Schippers&VanGucht is known for work that connects, moves, and encourages reflection. With earlier installations such as Warnet, De Volle Vuilkar, and ODE, they consistently create inviting and surprising encounters. EENIEDEREEN is no exception.

EENIEDEREEN does not symbolize the world, but your own inner room. You discover how limited your perception can be, until you come face to face with others and your horizon expands.

“Who is not away is seen.” In a time when many people feel invisible, this installation emphasizes the importance of being seen. Like children calling “Mom! Look!”, every human being longs for that gaze of recognition and connection.

Come to EENIEDEREEN, meet, merge, and discover the vast and self-evident feeling that comes after the rain. Be seen and be welcome; let yourself be moved by this unique experience. EENIEDEREEN embraces you.
