Bosfest 2026 presents

Requiem

Collectief Ludvik

In the music theatre performance Requiem, Ludvik invites you into a special ritual. In the Amsterdam Forest, a group of people gathers to say farewell to their deepest fears. Requiem is a musical search that goes beyond everyday anxieties. Because do our small, personal fears actually hold up against the major existential threats of our time? Ludvik explores what fear is and how to live with it. With humour, they confront fear and search for light. Together with a project choir of singers from the region, Ludvik creates a hopeful performance about letting go, coming together, and finding the courage to look the future straight in the eye.

Requiem is a performance in which the audience fully takes part.”
Arnhemsche Courant on Requiem

“The beautiful baroque-like compositions, polyphonic choral singing, and impressive vocal solos are striking.”
Volkskrant on Carel

“What stands out is how the music and lyrics carry the narrative, in a mix of musical genres that follow one another in rapid succession, like in a musical.”
Theaterkrant on Sehnsucht

About the makers

Collective Ludvik creates performances at the intersection of music theatre and opera, with music as the driving force of the narrative. Through distinctive and innovative productions, they aim to reach new audiences and create contemporary operas for a broad public.

The collective consists of Maartje Goes, Anne Wielink, and Stan Geurts. They all graduated from ArtEZ Music Theatre in 2017 and created their first production, Vlag, in 2018. Since this debut, Ludvik has developed contemporary operas with a distinctive artistic signature, including the radio play Het hart dat zichzelf verraadde (2020), Sonder and Sehnsucht (2022/2023), Keizer (2024), Letters (2024), and Carel (2025).
