On Thursday, September 24, Trijntje Oosterhuis & the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw present a special tribute to Songs in the Key of Life. This iconic album by Stevie Wonder, celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, is still widely regarded as one of the greatest records of all time.

Trijntje Oosterhuis, one of the Netherlands’ most versatile and beloved singers, has joined forces with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw to bring this ultimate celebration of Stevie Wonder’s music and life to the stage. Since her breakthrough with Total Touch, Trijntje has built an impressive solo career in which she effortlessly moves between pop, soul, and jazz. With her warm voice and great musicality, she brings new depth and emotion to every song.

The 17-piece Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw is among Europe’s leading big bands. With their energetic sound and virtuosic soloists, the orchestra brings jazz in all its forms to life. Together with Trijntje, they create a concert where craftsmanship and emotion come together a rich, layered tribute to an album that continues to inspire generations.
