Want to watch the most beautiful films under the starry sky? We can make that a reality! Every summer during the Cinetree’s Forest Film Festival. A unique film experience that focuses on special stories in combination with music, poetry, and introductions from experts and enthusiasts. Time to make your choice!
Every year we present a spectacular program full of additional entertainment and activities alongside the films for the full experience! For example, the festival opened in 2021 with the Oscar-winning film The Father (with personal introduction by Eric Corton and Erik Scherder), in 2022 with the acclaimed film Elvis by Baz Luhrman and in 2023 with the hit of that year: Barbie by Greta Gerwig.
We have three fantastic films once again planned for 2024. Frida is one of the most watched films on the Cinetree online platform, an absolute Cinetree favorite that will be shown on the huge screen in the middle of the forest this summer! We will also be showing one of the biggest arthouse hits of this year: Challengers featuring Zendaya. To top it all off, a real Studio Ghibli! The Boy and the Heron is the last film from animation legend Hayao Miyazaki, and won the Oscar for best animation last year
