Cinetree’s Forest Filmfestival

This four-day film event is not just a ‘fun movie night’. It is the place where fiction, beautiful images and real stories come together. Through introductions with experts, interviews, (live) music and/or poetry, you can fully immerse yourself in special experiences or worlds that you may not have known before.

About the Cinetree film evenings

Every year there is a diverse and spectacular program! For example, the festival opened in 2023 with the sold-out hit of that year: Barbie by Greta Gerwig and in 2024 with the critically acclaimed Frida. The festival opened in 2025 with another sold-out and much-discussed The Salt Path. Because: is the film based on a real life story or not? In addition, in 2025 we watched Spike Lee’s absolute cult classic Do the Right Thing, the beautiful true story Lion, and we closed the festival with the Paws & Popcorn dog film evening, with the Oscar and Golden Globe best animated film of 2o25: Flow.
