Theatre festival in the forest!
From Wednesday, August 20 to Saturday, August 30, Het Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest) transforms into a haven for theatre in the broadest sense of the word. You choose what and how much you want to see: will it be a melodic twilight journey into the dark, a spectacular piece about flash delivery riders, a poetic concert, or one of the many other performances?
Each evening features a different line-up, curated by a diverse and inspiring group of creators, always with the rustling trees as a majestic backdrop. Bosfest showcases gems of performances, many of which have already made their mark at other outdoor festivals earlier this year. There will also be a few exciting premieres.
You start and return to the festival hub at the Bostheater, where you can enjoy (live) music and delicious food prepared by our Mexican chef.

How can I attend?
Simple! You’ll need an entry ticket for the Bosfest festival hub. After that, you can purchase tickets for the performance(s) you’d like to see that evening. Admission to the festival hub costs €7.50. Performance tickets range between €10 and €12.50.

KILLJOY-TO-BE - LASTESIS / NITE riders
KILLJOY-TO-BE is a collaborative performance by the LASTESIS collective and NITE riders the junior company of NITE. Between AI fiction and a concert, the performance addresses the construction of narratives from digital platforms, the creation and wide spreading of content, its biases, strengths and dangers.
Sabbath - Niek Wagenaar’s Nymphs
In the mystical glow of the full moon, three figures gather for an enchanting ritual. Far removed from society’s norms, a game of light and darkness unfolds — a macabre dance moving counterclockwise, fueled by devilish energy. Here, the Sabbath takes place: a night of magic, mystery, and transformation.
FLITS. - ABSOLUUT. (together with Theater Oostpool & Karavaan)
In a world driven by speed, we follow a clumsy flash courier in his impossible race against the clock. While the competition rushes past him with faster bikes, bigger orders, and higher ratings, he struggles — in vain — to keep himself afloat.
