The Midnight

Amazing news! The Midnight will turn the Bostheater upside down on Sunday, July 14! Their sound is constantly evolving; stirring synths, retro-futurism, arena rock chords and infectious pop hooks lead to a musical journey during their live performance.

The Midnight, consisting of singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle and Danish drummer/producer Tim McEwan, delivers songs with the power to make any listener a ‘hero’. McEwan’s Danish background and Lyle’s southern American roots provide fertile ground for their unique collaboration. On their fourth studio album, ‘Heroes’, they take you on a journey, where the duo transforms into a five-piece band.

In Heroes, written during the isolation of the COVID quarantine, the band embraces the feeling of being alone by inviting the whole world to dance together. The album celebrates the interconnectedness of people, the way we overcome loss by coming together and singing. With songs like “Change Your Heart or Die” and “Heartbeat,” The Midnight’s new era promises to be their biggest and boldest one yet.

With influences from Springsteen to The Police, they bring a celebration of recognition and innovation. Experiencing the tracks from the new album live is a real experience.
